Sand Run Lake in Old Timberline: 25 LAKESIDE REFUGE 5 Bedrooms, 5 Baths (2 King, 3 Queens, 3 Trundle’s, 1 Set of Bunks). Relax and take in the views from this spacious well appointed home overlooking Sand Run Lake and the surrounding mountains.

LAKESIDE REFUGE features an open floor plan with a spectacular three story wall of glass in the great room. Great year round location; close to the alpine ski slopes in the winter and lake access with canoeing and fishing in the spring, summer and fall.

This amazing home borders a dedicated conservancy area and the 15,000 acre Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The Old Timberline area also offers access with parking to the 10,000 acre Dolly Sods Wilderness area. Opportunities abound for mountain biking, hiking and cross country skiing outside your front door.

Additional amenities include a pool table, game table, 2 widescreen TV’s, High Speed Internet, 2 horseshoe pits, a fire-pit, and 2 canoes at Sand Run Lake available for guests. Great year round location with fishing ponds, mountain biking and hiking trails nearby.

  • Winter Rates are in effect from January 2 thru February 15, and February 21 thru February 28.

Holiday

  • 3 Night Minimum

  • Holiday Rates apply to President’s Day and from December 26th thru January 1st. And from February 16 thru February 20th.
