A cedar-sided cabin seeped in history, surrounded by park & farmlands. A place to listen to the bobolinks and crickets, pick wildflowers, access recreation-rich public lands and connect with rural life.
Bobolink Cabin sits on the family farm, surrounded by hayfields and whispering pine; state park, wildlife refuge, wilderness. The inside is wood paneled and furnished with many functioning antiques. The kitchen is fully-equipped; the decks cool and welcoming. Internet/wireless throughout. Well-trained dogs welcome.

Additional Details
A little different kind of place. A marsh hawk glides across the open fields. A jenny wren feeds in the fence rails. Cattle low in the adjacent pasture. Simple pleasures, comfortable furnishings. Fascinating rather than sterile surroundings. All that's missing is YOU.
This cabin sits on a two-acre lot carved out of a working family farm. There are hayfields all around, and cows in a nearby pasture. The cabin has great views of wilderness and rolling farmland. From three sides, no other structures are visible. It's a beautiful setting in a high mountain valley, close to amenities, nestled between Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge and Canaan Valley State Park.
The Cabin sleeps 2 + people. The beds are in the large, wood-paneled loft with its cozy sitting area and:
- A central antique Lakewood double bed — sleeps one or two.
- The eastside double bed — sleeps one or two.
- The west side single bed — sleeps one.
In addition, there are:
- Two sofas on the first floor — can sleep one each, and
- A daybed on the front porc h— can sleep one.
