Vacation Home Description

Driftland Cabin is a custom, hand-crafted log home in Old Timberline, with direct access to Dolly Sods and the Canaan Valley Wildlife Refuge from the community, and a few minutes from skiing at Timberline Mountain!  The cabin has a traditional feel with hickory, knotty pine and ceramic floors and an open living area with wood stove, but also has modern amenities including air conditioning, 3 smart TVs (Chromecast available to cast Netflix, YouTube or other video streaming services from your smartphone to any TV in the house), high speed internet and a fully complement of brand new kitchen appliances.

There is a large master bedroom upstairs with a king sized bed and separate temperature controls for the room, and a second upstairs bedroom with 4 bunk beds for the kids, plus 2 bedrooms downstairs with queen sized beds.  Includes a deck with gas grill facing a large private back yard on nearly 3 acres of wooded land.

There are abundant outdoor opportunities including access to trails and two lakes (non-motorized boats only) within Old Timberline, plus direct access from the community to extensive trail systems in Dolly Sods and the Wildlife Refuge.   Timberline Mountain ski resort is just outside the community, and more skiing, hiking, golf, sightseeing and other activities are a short drive away.
