Vacation Home Description

Red Door Roost is a fabulous cabin located in the Yoakum Run Community only one mile from the new Timberline Mountain ski area by Perfect North. This chalet is centrally located to area attractions including Canaan Valley State Park & Conference Center, Whitegrass Touring Center, Blackwater Falls State Park, Dolly Sods, Wilderness area trail heads, and more! Red Door Roost is the perfect getaway year round for adventures, hosting a complete galley kitchen, comfy rustic furniture with a cozy wood fireplace.  A hot tub on the back deck facing the ski mountains makes this a great location for nightly relaxation. A picnic table is available on deck. Mounted hair dryers in the bathrooms for the last minute explorers seeking to hit Canaan Valley at the last minute. This home is accessable year round in an excellent location for Hike/Bike/Ski enthusiasts no matter what time of year!  Pets welcome for a fee. Sleeps 8. Four-wheel drive not needed in winter.

All guests have complimentary access to the privately owned Mirror Lake Recreation Area. Enjoy fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, biking and more! Canoes, pedal boat, kayaks, SUP boards, life jackets and oars are provided at no additional charge to our guests.  Swim/Boat at your own risk, No lifeguard on duty.

Red Door Roost is about 5 miles from Mirror lake.
